A clean, comfortable house near Manuel Antonio with a small pool and patio where the wildlife comes to you: guests describe afternoons hosting visiting monkeys and evenings when a dozen macaws put on a show. The kitchen comes fully stocked and the concierge staff are quick to help. The road up is steep, as it often is in Costa Rica.

The only bad thing about staying here was the drive up the steep road to the house. That was just driving in Cost Rica though. Otherwise, Casa Macaw had everything we needed to be comfortable for our week long stay. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The appliances worked. The small pool and patio were a great place to host all of the monkeys that came to visit in the afternoon.
Casa Macaw lived up to its name, we were visited by 10-12 Macaws on our last evening. They put on an amazing show! We also saw a troop of squirrel monkeys who were feasting on mangoes in a nearby tree. Loved the feel of Casa Macaw. It was very clean and very comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. Concierge staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Would stay there again if we visit Manuel Antonio again.
The staff was excellent. They were on Top of all our needs.
