About
The pitch from nearly every guest: do not do Manuel Antonio National Park without a guide. Guides here, including Beatriz the biologist, Aldo and Diego, carry telescopes and binoculars to bring sloths, monkeys, coatis, vipers, bats and the elusive red-eyed frog up close, and take the photos for you. Even on a busy day, reviewers say a good guide makes the park feel like your own.

We had a great time on our tour of Manuel Antonio National Park! The park itself is beautiful, but what really made the experience special was our tour guide, Aldo. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, plants, and history of the area, and he pointed out so many animals we would’ve completely missed on our own. The walk was enjoyable, informative, and perfectly paced. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Costa Rica!
Don’t go to Manuel Antonio without a guide! We booked directly through the parks site and had an incredible tour with biologist Beatriz. We learned so much and we never would have seen all the animals we did. She also carries a cool binocular so you can see everything up close and get incredible pictures! We saw 2 3 toed sloths (one with a baby!) howler and white faced monkey demons, coati, vipers, bats, blue butterflies, hummingbirds, the elusive red eyed frog and more. Even though the park was busy, Beatriz made us feel like we were the only ones there. Incredible experience!!!
We were with Beatrice, she has been an amazing guide. She was funny and so interesting. The pictures she took were so beautiful. We have great memories from this visit.
