About
Stephan, a chef by training, runs this adults-only retreat, and guests rave that his breakfasts — from gringo pintos to almond-milk pancakes with berries — beat the restaurants in town. Two treehouse suites sit high in the canopy, a river-stone pool and jacuzzi both spill over little waterfalls, and squirrel monkeys, capuchins, and macaws move through the trees. The pool and spa areas are clothing-optional, and reviewers describe a genuinely welcoming, all-are-welcome vibe.

We stayed in the treehouse and couldn’t have been happier! It was by far our favorite place in Costa Rica. Stephan and his staff were kind and accommodating. The food is better than any of the restaurants we tried, -we definitely recommend ordering the breakfast. We also booked a private dinner and were blown away by the flavor and amount of effort put into it. The whole property is inviting and you can see lots of wild animals crossing. The hotel is just a few minutes to shops and the beach but is also very private and felt safe to be there. We cannot wait to book our next stay here!
Oasis is located in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and beautiful flora. I saw an amazing variety of animals and birds. Squirrel Monkeys and Capuchin were there often, Macaws and a great assortment of other birds. They have a couple of magnificent treehouse rooms that sit way up high in the trees. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The stone pool and jacuzzi both have waterfalls and are wonderful to relax and enjoy. I ordered the breakfast offered, and was very pleased every time. The staff are just amazing and I really appreciated everything they do. Even my laundry for a nominal fee, which was much appreciated. The guests were all interesting and I enjoyed speaking with everyone I met. I love that Oasis is clothing optional in the pool and spa areas. I did my yoga nude on the lovely raised platform every morning and it was a wonderful way to start my day. Totally gay friendly, with some very friendly gays... Stephan is a wonderful guy, you'll definitely enjoy your stay at Oasis.
Oasis was a really cool place to stay. My husband and I were there for 5 nights to visit el parque nacional Manuel Antonio. The property had many levels and a river stone pool and large hottub both with waterfalls. Stephan, the host, was very welcoming and friendly as was his adorable dog, Lady. Our room was a beautiful colour, nicely decorated, and very well appointed. Oasis is very well situated between the town of Quepos, the town of Manuel Antonio, and the national park. Their vegan breakfasts were delicious: fried plantain, seasoned beans and rice, almond milk pancakes with strawberries, blueberries, and maple syrup, with fresh fruit juices. There are two treehouse suites and there is a gorgeous chill out massage level part way of the hill. We would highly recommend Oasis to any travellers coming to Costa Rica.
