About
A takeout bakery a bit off the beaten path, load it into Waze, with authentic Costa Rican pastries and breads at friendly prices. The dulce de leche pastry gets singled out as one of the best a traveler had, and the cheese-stuffed pastry is a good pick. There's no seating, but there are public benches by the river to enjoy your coffee and treats.

Not on the beaten path so be prepared. Load the address into Waze and go check them out. It is a takeout place no tables but the food is awesome and reasonably priced. Today was our first trip and of course we bought way too much but we are on vacation so what the heck. The pastries, donuts and authentic Costa Rican food is the bomb.
Good Panaderia with fairly priced items. You can sit on public benches by the river to enjoy your cafe :)
Traveling from the US and stopped here for a quick on the go breakfast. No seating in case you are thinking of staying to eat. Unfortunately, my Spanish is terrible so wasn’t sure what I was ordering, maybe if I was more familiar I would have made better choices. The cheese stuffed pastry was good, the bread was a bit hard, a sweet danish was alright, and the caramel pastry was much too sweet for my taste but three pastries and a big bread for 3600 colones was pretty darn good! The woman was nice and patient.
