About
Iguana Quepos leans into a fun tropical vibe — colorful blinking lights, cocktails, and an easy party feel. The Torre de Pescado is the dish people come back for: fresh fish in cream sauce stacked over veggies and fried tortillas. Cocktails like the Machu Picchu and a well-made piña colada round it out, poured by a friendly bar crew. Service can be hit or miss on a busy night.

Restaurante Iguana is where it’s at! It’s like a little party in here, and I love to see it! This is another spot that I passed by the night before and knew that I had to return too. I definitely made the right choice on this one. Not only are the drinks delicious, but the FOOD is hittin’! SO, so yummy! I had their Machu Picchu cocktail (the first time that I’ve ever tried a Machu Picchu) and it was very tropical and refreshing. I also enjoyed a beautiful piña colada to which the executed perfectly and in style. The Torre de Pescado was the true star of the show! Fresh fish in cream sauce stacked over fresh veggies and fried tortillas. Not sure who invented this dish, but please give them a pat on the back for me! It was sensational! The ladies who were tending to the bar were working it hard! They were super sweet and thus both know how to put a mean cocktail together! Also, you can’t beat the aesthetics here. It definitely has that fun tropical vibe going on, especially with all of those colorful blinking lights! Such a fun little spot for sure!
Got here on my first day in Quepos. The guy working there was super nice. Let me connect to the wifi, so I could call my friends and gave me a glass of cold water. Free of charge! Never got to go back and say a proper thanks to that guy, but he was a legend. Pura vida!
I had the bolognese. It was nice but the portion was way too much for me. The waitress was great. Spoke good English.
