About
Sabromar is a Quepos seafood standby where the sunset view over the water is part of the meal — time it for around 5:40. The pescado entero comes crispy with golden patacones, the arroz con mariscos is generous and full of flavor, and one guest called the octopus the best they'd ever had. Prices beat Manuel Antonio and portions are big, which is why people come back.

We got the information about this place from our hotel. The food was pretty good considering the price. Day 1 we had the seafood platter for 2, and Day 2 we got the rice with seafood and the fried whole fish. Both days were good, but not particularly memorable. The service were a bit lacking, we have to fill our water several times by ourselves in both day. And it could be the customary in this area. Don't forget to watch the sunset around 5:40 pm.
Absolutely remarkable place for great seafood. It's cheaper than places in Manuel Antonio and food is so good, we came for another dinner again. They serve huge portions and delicious meals with a wide choice. Service was super friendly and relaxed, it leaves very good impression.
This restaurant has it all - great food, great service, great view. I was served the best octopus I've ever eaten, very soft and tender. The view at sunset was phenomenal and not to be missed. The servers were very attentive despite being quite busy. We will definitely return!
