Soda Piscis is a small, cheap local soda that fans call some of the best food they had in Costa Rica — the ceviche in particular gets named the most flavorful around. Regulars also point to the chalupa de carne and the rolled, fried meat taco that comes with a big cabbage salad. Prices are low and the staff friendly.

This was easily the best & cheapest food I had in Costa Rica! I had the pleasure of trying the Alipapicarne, Chalupa de Carne & Ceviche. All were out of this world. I’ll be back again tomorrow!!
Great food overall and especially the ceviche was amazing
Great ceviche, the most flavorful we've had!! We also had a "taco" which is a rolled tortilla with meat inside and fried. We call these flautas in California. The taco comes with a large serving of shaved cabbage salad.
