About
Soda Sánchez is the bustling Quepos soda that's always crowded — and once you eat there, you get why. Breakfast is the standout: a Tico breakfast of fried eggs, rice, sausage, cheese and plantains with a fresh maracuyá juice guests rave about. Portions are big, the menu's in Spanish and English, and staff speak English. It runs a touch pricier than the average soda, and the natural juices lean sweet — ask for no added sugar if that's not your thing.

This place is always crowded every time I walk past, and after finally trying it myself, I completely understand why. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again.
Absolutely DELICIOUS breakfast and super fresh juice! This was the best breakfast that I had during my trip to Costa Rica! I first walked past this place on the night that I arrived to Quepos. It was bright and bustling. I just knew that I was going to have to give them a try. Fast forward to the next morning, and I found myself there for breakfast. It was much calmer by then, but the vibes were still there. I loved the cute tropical decor and low key vibe. Ended up ordering the Tico breakfast and a fresh Maracuya juice. Everything tasted absolutely fantastic! Fresh fried eggs, fluffy rice, succulent sausage, pungent cheese, lovable plantains, and warm tortillas all came together to formulate this mouthwatering breakfast. Portions were ample and filling. The Maracuya juice was the icin on the cake! I mean wowza! You can’t come here without having a fresh Costa Rican juice. Service was done with a smile. You can tell that the staff has a great time working here just by how they interact with each other. Within less than an hour, the rest of the seats started filling up and I can totally see why. This is a Quepos gem! Excellent breakfast, service, and vibes! Just go!
Friendly service with a menu in Spanish and English. This meal was one of the best and most affordable we had on our trip. Large portions and every meal from the calamari to steak was cooked to perfection. I recommend trying any of the Casados.
