Tourists be careful here. I am not sure if the cashiers wanted to scam me but they typed in the wrong price for a product. The products costed in total 1800 Colones and they typed in 7200 Colones. When I went back in to get my money back they only gave me 3000 Colones which is way too less. So I had to walk a second time in and demand my money back which was 5500 Colones. It was really weird. I am not sure if it was just a mistake but I feel like they wanted to scam me.
The store itself was small but nice and had everything we needed. However, my sister and I were repeatedly harrassed by a local guy who wanted to know where we were from, then cursed us for allegedly feeling superior to him (we had given him absolutely no reason to feel that way and had been in no way disrespectful), and eventually took off, mumbling "I hope you burn in hell." The cashier, who witnessed all of this, did absolutely nothing to defuse the situation. We'll definitely not be coming back.
It has everything. There is no better super in the area. The owners are the most wonderful people. Check it out
