We booked this last minute as an add on to our trip, so I didn't research the hotel. It was much different than our other hotels. We were in Tiki 2. Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Not a huge selection but food was good and there was typical choices. Our room was rustic. No amenities except AC. No coffee, no fridge, no hot water, no towel racks. The room had a billion ants too. Yes, I know it's in a tropical climate, but none of our other rooms had that many ants. I had to keep sweeping them off the bed. The bed was very old and uncomfortable and the hotel is right off the road, so it was loud and bright lights shown in our room all night. We think some of the other rooms were nicer and maybe even updated, but for what we paid, it was awful. I'm so glad we only had yo endure 1 night.

Rooms were small but adequate, ceiling fans to accompany air conditioning was a nice add on. Public bus right outside restaurant takes you down to great day beach spot. Very steep walk up, but golf cart to assist. Included breakfast is not buffet style but love the ham sandwich and spaghetti bolognese at dinner. Specific note about not hanging wet clothes/towels on balcony or chairs, some more hooks would go a long way.

I recently stayed at the Tabulia Tree Hotel and Villas and overall had a pleasant experience. The room we stayed in was large, had a great view, and while a bit dated, it was clean and cozy. It was equipped with air conditioning, which was much appreciated given the climate. However, for amenities such as blow dryers, pool towels, and in-room safe keys, we had to go to the reception. The hotel is situated beside a main road on a hill, and our room was accessible by many stairs. While this provided a good workout, it may be challenging for some guests. Breakfast was included in our stay. The free WiFi was reliable and convenient. We also appreciated the ease of booking tours directly at the reception. The staff was friendly, and special mention goes to Enrique, who made our stay particularly enjoyable with his warm demeanor and excellent cocktails by the pool. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to see wildlife in their natural habitat, thanks to the abundance of trees and plants around the hotel. Overall, Tabulia Tree Hotel and Villas offers a comfortable stay with good amenities and a touch of nature.
