About
Guests here talk about surf lessons for kids and adults with instructors who make you feel safe in the ocean, and about staff who quickly feel like family. The bungalows are angled for privacy on the balcony, where travelers spot toucans, parrots, sloths, and monkeys, and the poolside restaurant does fresh seafood and Costa Rican dishes. The park bus stops right out front; the walk back up the hill to Quepos is a real workout.

This proved to be such a marvelous place! It seems that the hotel has just recently opened because all the bungalows and territory look very fresh and new. Inside the bungalow we liked the comfortable bed, air conditioner and perfectly functioning shower with hot water, while the blue lamp contributed to the atmosphere. But the best thing is that each bungalow is turned to the side a bit so that when you sit on the balcony you do not see anybody else, which creates a feeling of exclusivity. In only 2 days at this place were lucky to see more wildlife right from the hotel (and sometimes right from our balcony), than in any park in Costa Rica: tucans, huge parrots, sloths, a family of monkeys and plenty of smaller birds. We loved the view from the restaurant and the pool. We have noticed that all the hotel facilities (including the pool) are accessible for people with disabilities.
I loved the room and the included breakfast! Everyone was willing to help us out with rec's. The bus to the park picks you up right out front! The hill up/down to Quepos is a beast but you can bus it or get a real good work out instead.
