About
This is a simple, spotless guesthouse where guests consistently praise how clean it's kept, a good shared kitchen, and a welcoming host. Rooms are modest, some with shared bathrooms cleaned daily, and it sits a bit out from the center of Quepos. It's genuinely hard to find, with no street signs and a rocky access road, so arrive with clear directions and ideally in daylight.

Overall the room was okay, but the experience had several downsides. First of all, the place is very difficult to find. There are no signs on the street indicating where it is, and the location description is quite confusing. If you are arriving by car, be careful: the road leading there is very rocky and not easy to drive. We arrived in the evening, which made it even harder because you can barely see anything in the dark. The check-in experience was also not good. A man who didn’t speak any English came to receive us, so we couldn’t understand anything he was saying. We had to give him cash, and afterwards he asked for more money while pointing at his blind eye. As two girls traveling alone, this made us feel very uncomfortable and honestly quite unsafe.
The rooms are nica and clean and have fans. A little bit small but that is okay. You share the bathroom with two other rooms, wich we had no problem with whatsoever, it was clean every day. The kitchen was great. The hostess is really nice as well. The only thing is that her kids live here as well so if you're in the livingroom alone with them it can be a little bit awkward, and the location is a bit further from the center. With a car that is no problem but it is quite a walk to Quepos. Overall we had a great stay!
Jorge is very nice guy and will help wizh everything. Its getting very close to european standards. Big bathrom with hot water. Recommend this place to all travelers and backpackers.
