A garden hotel about a ten-minute walk from both Sámara's beach and town, built around two pools and courtyards thick with tropical plants. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with breezy porches, and a full breakfast — eggs, fruit, gallo pinto, juice — is included. Staff repeatedly go out of their way, once taking in a family of eleven on no notice. A few guests report booking mix-ups, so confirm your reservation.

The owner is not to be trusted. We booked through airbnb and we got there and the receptionist said she didn’t have our name nor reservation. She called her supervisor and the had no room to give us though we had already paid. Airbnb tried calling the owner Angelo and no response. We would have been SOL and homeless for the night but luckily we were able to stay at our previous accommodations. The next day he responded and said the receptionist had been waiting for us and had a room. Gas light central! Read his bad reviews and you will see similar bad experiences with this guy. Guaranteed he will respond and say the same thing that they had the room. He never apologizes. Luckily got refunded by Airbnb. I would never book direct as then no chance for a refund.

Lovely hotel with gorgeous pool and well appointed rooms. The Bella Vista is conveniently situated approx. 500m from the beautiful beach and away from the hustle of the village centre but easy access to the amenities of the town of Samara. Easy and friendly full breakfast of juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea coffee, eggs, beans/rice, toast and jam. An excellent way to start the day. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Easy access to the pool and food, groceries and restaurants.

The staff at this cute hotel were so amazing to us after a really tough day! We had a last minute change of plans and just jumped in the car headed towards Samara without a place to stay for our family of 11. I called the hotel on the way and they said just come on and we will figure it out!! They welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to choose from the available rooms what best suited our family. They really went above and beyond, offered the kids drinks and snacks when we arrived and helped us order pizza for dinner. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and courtyard area are well kept with beautiful tropical plants everywhere. On top of it all, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was included with our stay!!! The walk to town and beach are both just a few minutes away. This place is a gem ❤️
