Hotel Belvedere

A great small hotel, within walking distance of everything in Samara. Our room had a/c and a fan, which was needed considering the +30 days. The pool was also a welcome respite from the heat - look for the resident iguana who likes to sun itself on the fence! A buffet breakfast is available for an extra fee. Parking is available as well. Thanks Petra and crew for a great stay!

Lovely family run hotel, still being run by the people that built and developed it over decades. Friendly and attentive service, clean comfortable rooms where everything worked. Good air-conditioning too. Our rooms had a covered terrace Ideal for sitting out when it rained, looking out at a nice little sunbathing area and swimming pool. All set in absolutely beautiful mature tropical gardens. Perfect for relaxing after an exhausting tour of Costa Rica. Good breakfast too. The beach was about 5 minutes walk away, with a variety of bars, restaurants and supermarkets on the way.

Great place to stay a short walk from the beach. The location relative to the town is excellent because it is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The environment is gorgeous with lush gardens and a pool. The optional buffet breakfast is a great way to start the day.
