Hotel Las Brisas del Pacifico

Absolutely fantastic place for the price. Great location, large beds/bathroom, included breakfast. The staff were very sweet. Felt like a boutique hotel. The pool was warm and clean with lounge chairs and an outdoor shower. We even saw monkeys right by the pool. The walk into town was ~6 minutes on the beach. The sweetest doggies too! We were so sad to leave!

Second time we've stayed here. It's a budget hotel so there aren't a lot of services. The grounds and gardens are stunning even in the dry season. The medium size pool is immaculate. The rooms are clean and well appointed with new A/C units and a mini fridge. No TV. The beach is behind the hotel with a long shallow sandy walkout. The WiFi is excellent. There is a choice of 3 set breakfasts, American (eggs and fried ham, toast and juice), or a fruit plate or Costa Rican included with the room. The coffee is self serve and excellent. The staff and owner are friendly. There is no restaurant or other food. Sometimes you can buy a coke or Fanta. There is a great restaurant right next door called Bahia. And toward the town along the beach there are 6 or 7 more restaurants easily walkable. In town there are probably 20 more restaurants plus shops and stores, all within walking distance of the hotel. Horses eating discarded mangoes on the beach. No music playing anywhere to spoil the tranquility.

Right on the beach! The hotel is definitely dated but we weren't planning on being in the room. The pool is nice. Walking distance to town. Breakfast was just okay, nothing crazy. MAKE SURE YOU GET AC!!! Our first room didn't have AC and it was 91 degrees the entire time! We finally got a room with AC for $25/ night. So worth it.
