This tiny roadside soda run by a dad and daughter serves some of the freshest local food in Samara at prices that still feel honest. The red snapper fish tacos, shrimp tacos and a full gallo pinto breakfast come in huge portions with quick, kind service. Seating is limited and it's cash or Sinpe only, but it's a real taste of Costa Rica, not a generic breakfast.

The food is excellent in this very small roadside cafe. We enjoyed fish tacos (red snapper) and grilled fish (red snapper) with a few Imperial Silver Beer. Entire meal was $28. Cash only now credit cards. The dad and daughter were very kind and the food was great!
Very chill local soda with delicious food! We were craving gallo pinto (and some shrimp tacos) and everything was so fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the stop!
One of the best meals we had in Samara! Fresh ingredients, very tasty, friendly service and huge portions :) I had the fish tacos and my husband had the shrimp and rice!
