Restaurant - I was wary upon sitting down at this beautiful spot after glancing at the reviews, but the manager seems to be working very hard to earn back some stars. We had a couple of drinks (nothing amazing but decent cocktails) and some great pizza and ceviche at the most beautiful beachfront spot I’ve seen on the beach strip, and that’s saying something! Live music started at 7 and we had a great time. You’re going to pay more for sure for the location and touristy spot, but again we had lovely service and a beautiful night there.

I wish we had read the reviews before we went here. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the area it sits on the beach. The views are spectacular and that's where the good experience ends. The food is barely edible and the prices are out of this world high! One drink cost $30 US! We all left there feeling totally taken advantage of!!!!! Absolutely disgusting to do that to people! They should be ashamed of themselves. They'd already be out of business if it weren't for there location.

Not pleased with our experience whatsoever. Would NOT recommend staying here - we stayed all over Costa Rica and at some shanty’s for sure and was prepared for that but this place surprised us. First of all their site says there is parking. That’s a lie. The parking isn’t theirs and it’s a random street you park which is fine but it’s a common beach parking area that gets full in a instant so don’t think you can pull up in a vehicle and park at their parking. It’s non existent so good luck. There were no garbages in our room. The walls are literally paper thin. I could hear the convo people next to us had plain as day. When their phone alarm went off in the am- it easily woke us up. Through the whole night you can hear creatures in the walls and on the roof literally pawing at the walls and walking on the roof. Likely lizards. This did not allow us to sleep at all! We told the staff and their solution was to move us to a room that we would have to pay more to stay- We ended up taking the room and IT WAS WORSE!!!!! I literally thought a lizard was going to bore a hole through the wall. Then you also get waken up by coconuts or large branches falling on the roof and making a loud “bang!” The roof is a thin tin roof that we thought was going to blow off in the wind. You can hear EVERYTHING!!! To top off the no sleep- a staff member decided to fix their wooden a frame menu stand at 6am banging the nails in with a rock he found on the beach right in the lobby. Myself and other guests had to ask them to stop so we could get what little sleep was possible. Their restaurant seemed to always be short on ingredients- couldn’t get a burger - couldn’t get the daiquiris they listed on menu- at 90 usd a night - it was a horrible experience and I would not recommend staying here. The location was good- on the beach - and we had access to their beach chairs so that was the only bonus. Rant over.
