Laura Waite: Yoga • Massage • Retreats

I was in Samara for three weeks and created a retreat for myself by basically attaching myself to Laura through her massage and yoga work. I came to Costa Rica for a reset after a challenging year and I'm so glad I found Laura. I did four of her signature massage sessions over two weeks which allowed us to work through my stuck energy in a profound way. I also went to her beachfront yoga classes which continued the physical, emotional and spiritual healing. I admire Laura's authentic dedication to using her gifts and talents to really help people. She certainly helped me.

I had the opportunity to experience both Laura’s yoga classes and one of her signature massage and energy work sessions while in Samara, and I’m incredibly grateful for both. Her yoga classes were exactly what I needed each morning. Laura was deeply attuned to the energy and needs of the class each day and adjusted accordingly. Her cueing and instruction were thoughtful and clear, allowing you not only to move safely into each asana, but also to feel confident that your posture and alignment were correct. I left every class feeling more grounded, settled, and connected to my body. Her massage and energy work session carried that same level of presence and intentionality. Laura was attentive, thoughtful, and deeply intuitive throughout the entire experience. Not only did my body feel significantly better afterward, but my mind felt calmer and more at ease as well. I’m so grateful for my experiences with Laura in both capacities and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for mindful, skilled, and genuinely supportive care.

I attended Laura's yoga classes four times during my stay in Samara, and each one was an incredible experience—easily worthy of five stars! Laura is truly masterful and deeply knowledgeable in her practice. Every class focused on a different chakra, creating a beautiful progression that felt both intentional and transformative. One session even incorporated a powerful Kundalini serpent meditation, which was a highlight for me. She always checked in at the beginning, asking if anyone had specific areas of the body to focus on or any requests, which made the classes feel personalized and caring. Her guidance was clear, supportive, and perfectly balanced between challenge and restoration. I left every session feeling more aligned, energized, and at peace. I will absolutely be returning to Laura's classes the next time I'm in Samara—highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, heart-centered yoga!
