About
A relaxed, local surf outfit where beginners catch real waves and the price includes the board for a few days afterward. Renting a board by the hour is easy, kids can use bodyboards free while a parent surfs, and instructors like Mariano and Carmen get named for patient, fun lessons. They also run kayak-and-snorkel trips out to Isla Chora, and when weather turned a boat tour rough they offered a reschedule or refund without hassle.

Brought a group of 10 here while I was chaperone for a college outdoor adventure trip. 2 people in our group did the lessons and they were doing awesome for just starting to surf. it was $60 and you get to use the board for 3 days, which I thought was a great deal, better then a lot of other schools on the beach. The rest of us just rented boards which was very easy to do. The waves here are great for beginners and many of us were able to catch waves. The staff made our experience especially special, they were all very personable and told us a lot about themselves. We can't wait to go back to them next year!!
We did the kayak and snorkel tour. Just two of us and Leo’s brother was our guide out to Isla Chora. Good workout and a chill time. Fun to see Sámara from the ocean side. Leo and his wife were nice to chat with after our trip back at the beach.
Great surf lessons from Carmen for the family and Leo is really nice and relaxed! Our kids also could use the body boards for free while I was surfing on my own!
