Berny was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and an absolute joy to tour with. He speaks excellent English, which made everything easy for our family. He was fantastic with the kids; patient, engaging, and genuinely excited to help them spot wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw so much we never would have noticed on our own. The turtle nesting tour was a total hit and such a special experience. We also did the Palo Verde wildlife tour, which was equally amazing. Both tours were well organized, informative, and unforgettable. Highly recommend Berny if are traveling to Costa Rica and want a memorable experience.

We did an overnight tour with Berny to Rio Celeste. He arranged everything including white water rafting, food tour, and sloth tour but also let us make decisions along the way of extra stops. He's very knowledgeable and respectful of nature and animals. Super great experience. Would highly recommend!

Our nature hike with our guide Berny was absolutely outstanding — one of the best excursions we’ve ever done in Costa Rica! Berny was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the local ecosystem — from birds and plants to monkeys and insects — and his passion for nature was infectious. We were amazed by his ability to spot birds in the thick forest with the naked eye, often before anyone else even knew where to look. He set up his spotting scope so we could get an up-close look at burds, owls, bats , monkeys and more, and even took beautiful photos through the lens that he later shared with us on WhatsApp — such a generous gesture! This hike was the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and natural beauty. We left with a deeper appreciation for Costa Rica’s wildlife and a true admiration for Berny’s expertise and warmth. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Sámara area — it’s an experience not to be missed!
