Pescaderia Matapalo is the go-to fishmonger in the Samara area, a tiny, no-frills spot where the mahi (dorado), tuna, shrimp, octopus, pargo and lobster come in fresh off the boat, often caught that very day. Prices are fair enough to cook your own, the family who runs it is welcoming, and locals say to come late in the day after the catch lands.

epic local place to buy fresh fish! prices are super convenient if you want to cook your own Tuna, MahiMahi, Shrimps, Octopus or 🦞 strongly recommend to go and buy some!
Prices were very good and the fish was fresh caught today!
