Pizzeria el Jardin turns out wood-fired pizzas that reviewers flatly call the best in Samara: the oven gives the crust a distinctive char, and the big pies easily feed six or seven. The Margherita, Four Seasons and house special all get named, and the couple cooking and taking orders are patient and warm with visitors working through their Spanish.

We tried the Hawaiian and Pepperoni pizzas, and they were amazing. The wood-fired oven gave them a unique, exceptional taste. During our stay in Samara, we ate there twice and everything was great.
Ordered 4 of their big pizzas. They day they feed 4-5, but 1 big easily could feed 6 or 7. I don't know the names, but guy cooking and the woman taking orders and helping in the kitchen were very patient with us while we spoke English and they spoke Spanish, with English thrown in. The chef took the video of the pizza oven and he let me take a video of him pressing out the dough. The Marguerite is the cheese, and we also ordered the 4 seasons and the house special. A.MAZ.ING.
