Sandy Toes Hostel

One of the best hostel experiences that I've ever had! The location and the space inside the hostel are both amazing. But the most special thing about this hostel are definitely the people. Mauricio, Keeyon and the rest of the volunteers are very genuine and authentic folks. Kiban, the owner of the hostel, is one of the the most down to earth and kind individuals that I've met during my time in Samara. Great social atmosphere and great events hosted by the hostel as well. Can't recommend enough!

FANTASTIC Experience!! Very friendly & welcoming staff! Thanks Kiban, Jared, Mauricio and crew :)) Made me feel right at home. Even inviting us out to events like Volleyball, or Karaoke & Salasa at the restaurant Las Olas on the beach! Great Location in the heart of Samara. Close to everything. You can experience the active evenings of Samara from here! Great coffee at El Viaje nearby. Try the Tacos right underneath the hostel so good! Hostel bunks have privacy shades which are nice. Lounge area with hammocks to hang out in.

The kitchen was awful and dirty, the bed sheets had a vinegar smell, very noisy plenty of dogs barking, a bar and a gym under the hostel playing loud music, cardboard walls we could hear everything outside the room. We had to checkout at 8am because our shuttle was coming to pick us up, but no one at the reception to give us back our deposit. Someone arrived last minute we were lucky. Well located in Samara tho.
