Tuki Tuki Lodge

This may be one of the most peaceful places on earth. We spent hours just relaxing in the pool in the shade. JP the owner knew exactly what people were looking for and created it. Large comfortable room cold AC. I gave tuki tuki 5 stars only because 100 were not available. Great place hope to visit again many times..

My stay at Tuki Tuki in Samara Costa Rica was unfortunately very disappointing. What should have been a relaxing experience turned into a stressful and upsetting one. I felt that the owner took advantage of my kindness and did not repay money he owed me on time, which caused unnecessary stress and made me feel used. This situation alone significantly affected my overall experience. In addition, the rooms were not cleaned daily, which was unexpected and detracted from the comfort of the stay. The property was shut down and lights off by 7 nightly too which didnt leave anywhere to socialize. When I politely asked if my breakfast meal could be placed in the fridge, I was met with attitude, as though I was asking for special treatment rather than making a simple request. That interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, to the point where I genuinely wanted to leave. Overall, the atmosphere and service did not reflect the hospitality one hopes for while on holiday. Sadly, this experience overshadowed my time there.

Had a great stay at Tuki Tuki Lodge! Rooms were clean and spacious. Gardens and pool were amazing. JP is an awesome host, is very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfasts were tasty. Great location outside of downtown Samara, nice and quiet.
