About
Ananda runs scuba trips out of Santa Teresa to the Tortilla and La Cadena dive sites, and the water comes up full of life — white-tip reef sharks, eagle rays, moray eels, and humpback whales spotted from the boat. Divemaster Raphaela is the name that recurs: calm, sharp-eyed, and great at pointing out marine life, with owner Sacha flexible on scheduling and PADI courses. Fresh-cut watermelon and pineapple between dives seal it.

Had an incredible scuba diving experience with Ananda Dive Shop in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. My instructor Raphaela was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, calm, and genuinely passionate about diving and marine life. Went to Tortilla and Cardena dive sites and did an amazing job pointing out all kinds of marine animals On the boat was super comfortable and well thought out. Raphaela had freshly cut watermelon, pineapple, and snacks between dives. If you’re diving in Santa Teresa and want a professional, fun, and well-organized operation, I highly recommend Ananda Dive Shop and definitely dive with Raphaela if you get the chance.
It was an incredible experience diving with Ananda. Laura, the instructor was excellent, professional, and fun. We felt safe the entire time and were able to enjoy every second underwater. The dive site was fantastic; we saw many friendly sharks. I highly recommend coming and diving with them, and taking courses here. Thank you!
Ananda Dive ‘n Flow was great today- 2 tank dives on short notice from their boat. Organized, responsive, friendly, expert dive master (Raphaela) and captain (Brian). Two locations- Tortilla and La Cadena. They even supplied sliced fruit and other snacks between dives! The sea was FULL of life. Highly recommend.
