DELIZIE ITALIAN BAKERY & KITCHEN

When me and my friend (both Italian) think to our great trip in Costa Rica (september '25) and it's time to talk to about food, the very first place is and forever will be Delizie. It's just the best bakery you will ever find in Costa Rica, a little slice of magic, a welcoming corner of light and love, where a wonderful family from Puglia will offer you delicious food. Focacce, pizza, calzoni and pane are made with mastery and passion. We ate a focaccia loaded with fresh tuna and avocado, a calzone with chees and vegetables and a pizza covered by capocollo of Martina Franca (a special ham from Puglia). Go there, and enjoy the best meal you will have in along time!

Last night, we dined at Delizie, the closest restaurant to our rental house, and we were thrilled with the experience! The pizza was exceptional, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal on the covered patio, watching the heavy rain and lightning, which added a cozy vibe to the evening. The pizza paired perfectly with cold beer. Highly recommend visiting this gem of a restaurant!

I recently visited Rome and Naples and thought I had tasted the best pizza and pasta, until I came to Delizie in Santa Teresa. The food here is absolutely incredible, truly authentic and full of flavor. On top of that, the service was outstanding. Huge thanks to little Giuseppe for his super friendly and warm hospitality! From now on, I won’t go to Italy for Italian food: I’ll come back to Santa Teresa!
