Serious coffee, the kind baristas travel for — house-roasted beans, careful pour-overs, and a cold brew that holds up when the pour-over line gets long. Flaky, buttery pastries come out of the open kitchen, and you can buy beans (and records) to take home. Air-conditioned and laptop-friendly, though a few find the AC set cold.

Always seeking proper coffee on my world travels, this place didn’t disappoint. If wanted to give constructive feedback the AC was way too cold. Freezing. But still went as just liked the vibe and the coffee. Was nice watching the pastry making in the background ad you can see into the kitchen. Nice baked goods.
Maggie makes the best cappuccinos! This is truly a place I come to all the time for my coffee. The atmosphere is super lovely, and above all, the quality of the products is excellent.
Genuinely one of the best coffee shops we've ever been to in the world. We spend good money on beans, grinders, and brewing methods at home - this easily matches or tops it. Pour over will take a while when they're busy, but the cold brew carries very similar characteristics / quality and is ready quickly. Pastries are also top notch - super buttery and flaky, better than most pastry shops in Toronto. Highly recommend this as a daily stop.
