About
ICO is the quieter Santa Teresa hostel — a short walk from the beach but off the main road, with a huge, well-equipped kitchen that long-term travelers cook in to save money. The community area of long tables and hammocks makes it easy to meet people, and Federica, who runs the place, sorts out tours, surfboard rentals, and even helped one guest recover a stolen phone.

Spent a total of 18 nights in ICO and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The beds are large and comfy, the dorm is spacious. The community area is perfect for gatherings with long tables and hammocks and it’s easy to get to know new people. Federica, the manager will make sure you feel welcome and is the friendliest host. She will also gladly help out with tours, local spots to visit, surfboard rentals. You name it 😊 I was so sad to leave!
Great hostel to spend a few days in Santa Teresa! Perfect location, super friendly staff, and spacious, clean bathrooms. Overall, it was an amazing experience — I would definitely stay here again.
Great place! Super close to the beach and very modern and clean. It even has a Surf board rental with nice boards. Especially Frederica, the receptionist, was super nice!! She helped me a lot when my phone got stolen at the beach. With her and her boyfriends help I got it back :) 10/10 would recommend
