I had such an amazing week at Lapoint! From the moment I arrived, the whole team made me feel so welcome. The surf coaches were incredibly thorough and supportive, and I could see my progression throughout the week. Every session felt structured but still fun, and the encouragement in the water made such a difference. A huge thank you to my instructor Cesar, the coaching was thorough, easy to understand, and I could see my progression throughout the week, with the physical and mental challenges that come with surf. He was patient, encouraging, and brought such great energy to every session. I also want to mention Ingrid, the camp manager, who was absolutely fantastic. She was always supportive, incredibly well organised, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. You could really feel how much she cares about creating a great experience for everyone. The social team and fellow surfers made the experience even more special. There was such a great atmosphere both in and out of the water, from surf sessions to evenings together, it really felt like a little community. I met such a lovely group of people along the way, and it truly made the week unforgettable. I’d absolutely recommend Lapoint to anyone wanting to improve their surfing while being part of such a friendly, positive environment!

I spent a week at Lapoint Santa Teresa in January and honestly, I can’t recommend it enough 🤍 The camp has everything you need, and the staff are super friendly and always happy to help. I met such cool people and made friends so easily!! The coaching was amazing too. Big shoutout to Mateo, he was the best! The lessons felt really personalised since it was just two people and the coach (at least for level 3). I also used to go free surfing every afternoon at sunset with friends from the camp, and even when the coaches weren’t working, they were still giving me tips, especially Weendher, Mateo and Sleyder. Santa Teresa is such a beautiful place too!! One of the happiest weeks ever. So grateful, thank you ✨

10/10 experience. Will definitely be back. La Pointe Costa Rica had the most lovely staff and amazing guests. The facilities were beautiful and clean. The food was amazing, and the kitchen and staff were extremely accommodating to my gluten allergy. I felt very safe the entire time, both at the camp and in the water with my surf coaches. Thank you, La Pointe!
