Lucero feels like a private little oasis in walking distance of Santa Teresa — gardens, a yoga studio, and a private pool, with rooms cleaned every day and gallo pinto and fresh eggs for breakfast. The surf instructors, Daniel and Isaac, get groups of every level onto waves and are the reason many guests book their return. Even the resident dog earns a mention.

Just the best! Everyone that works there is top notch and staying there truly felt like a home away from home. Anything you need, just ask and they’ll be happy to help. The rooms are immaculate, cleaned everyday! The breakfast is sooo good! I found it very easy to relax and just read my book, but also a great location with all the activities within walking distance. Daniel, the surf coach willl have you ripping in no time!
An absolutely amazing experience staying at Lucero. The accomodations were beautiful, and the staff was so friendly and kind- felt like I was right at home. I simply cannot wait to come back to Lucero!!
We stayed at Lucero for three nights in November and couldn’t think of a better stay for Santa Terese! The room was beautiful with beautiful details and the staff including the dog super friendly. Highly recommend for a stay!
