I had an amazing experience with Monkey Surf Adventures in Santa Teresa. From the first moment you can tell this is a school that truly cares about the people who come to learn and enjoy the ocean. The whole atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and very professional. Nacho is an incredible instructor. He is extremely committed, patient, and also makes the whole experience really fun. You can feel that he genuinely loves surfing and teaching, which makes a big difference when you are in the water learning. Whether you are a beginner or already have some experience, you will feel supported and encouraged the whole time. Thanks to Nacho I had a fantastic time and improved a lot while enjoying the waves. If you are visiting Santa Teresa and want to learn to surf or improve your skills, I truly recommend Monkey Surf Adventures. It is easily one of the most dedicated and trustworthy surf schools in the area and a perfect way to make your vacation even better.

Taking surf lessons with Nacho is an experience you‘ll surely never forget ! I took lessons with instructors before but every time I tried to go back to surfing I had to learn that they just sold me fun but not really surfing skills. Surfing is very complex and if you really want to learn it - Nacho is your man! After a short introduction and picking the right board for your needs, he goes into the details of surfing technique and how you can learn/improve it. Then you enter the ocean together and he‘ll be by your side to help you catch waves and coach you on your technique. After consecutively taking lessons I saw great progress in my surfing skills and am happy to say that I learned how to surf through Nacho and it was an AMAZING experience !

Nacho is a very good and patient surf instructor. This was the third time I returned to him and Monkey Adventures for lessons while in Santa Teresa. As many years since last time, I was quite nervous, but he managed to make me feel confident. He explains well and adjust my faults and listening to his instructions I managed to improve. It was so fun!
