About
One of the classic Santa Teresa surf pizzas — no boho styling, just fast, honest, old-school Mal Pais pizza. The namesake Tomate comes loaded with fresh tomato and a side of garlic oil on a wooden plate, the thin crust crisp, portions and prices fair. It also turns out chicken parm sandwiches and spaghetti, with a fun happy hour.

We went there to pick up several pizza's for dinner. The “Tomate” tastes great with fresh tomato on it. You get garlic oil along with the pizza which is served on a wooden plate. The pizza dough was not too thick and crispy. Overall decent, somewhat expensive.
Really good food for good price! I am vegetarian and they were really nice!!
The food is actually very good. Had the Hawaiian pizza, chicken parm sandwich and the spaghetti with meat sauce(takeout). also a few Margarita pizza slices. Really good prices, good food, good portion size. This place should be busy, based on why a restaurant is a restaurant, but it’s not a trendy, boho style spot. But check it out, and you will enjoy!
