A small resort in the heart of Mal País where host Joe is known for two things: the best pizza in town—light, airy crust with homemade Italian sausage—and taking care of guests start to finish. The kitchen also turns out fresh sashimi and fish tacos straight from the fishing village across the street. Anglers book fishing trips with guide Andy for yellowfin tuna and more, and there's a striking pool to come back to.

We had a fantastic time at Playa de Pesca! I was with a group of 15 people. Joe and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Plus the pizza was to die for!! The crust was light and airy and the homemade Italian sausage was incredible - I’m drooling just thinking about it. Highly recommend taking the trip out to this restaurant for great food and fun atmosphere.
Whether you are a fishing novice or expert, Andy is the guide for you! He is as knowledgeable as he is personable, creating a safe yet fun experience. My family and I had the most amazing time catching yellowfin tuna, Spanish mackerel, and more—even a rooster! There was never a dull moment. No bobbing around waiting: the first fish was caught within sight of the dock and didn’t slow down the whole morning. With plenty of time left to spare on our fishing trip and only two days left in Mal Pais, we decided to call it at keeping 7 huge fish. If 10 stars were an option, I’d mark 11.
