The Baya House

I had the most amazing stay at this beautiful boutique hotel 🤍 It was just recently remodeled and everything feels so fresh, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect — literally a two-minute walk to the beach! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the rooms are adorable, and you have everything you need: air-conditioning, a private bathroom, fridge, coffee and tea right in your room. The pool area is gorgeous, and the overall atmosphere and vibe here feel peaceful, special, and untouched. Most of all, the owner Veronica is such a sweet soul and genuinely kind person who puts so much love into this place. You can really feel the care and intention behind everything she’s created. She’s doing an amazing job running it, and I couldn’t recommend staying here more 💛

My husband and I booked and stayed at the “Pina” apartment and it truly had everything you could wish for. It was stylish yet homey, with beautifully curated furniture. It felt comfortable without being generic and hotel like, which honestly, it’s what was missing with other accommodations in Santa Teresa. We had such a wonderful time. The kitchen is very well equipped with great supplies, which made it feel even more like home being able to make breakfast or a salad. Veronica is incredibly responsive and helpful. My husband took three surf coachings with Jeremy and was able to quickly improve and had the best time. They also arranged an ATV for us, which was conveniently dropped off and picked up directly at the accommodation - super easy!! Overall, we really didn’t want to leave and truly hope we can come back again one day. 💛

The Baya House is such a beautiful, well-thought-out space. Veronica, the owner, was meticulous and paid close attention to every detail, creating a space that feels more like an experience than simply a place to sleep. You can immediately feel that it was intentionally curated and will make your time in Santa Teresa feel special. It’s especially a great option for solo female travelers, offering an environment that feels safe. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and genuinely care about making sure guests have the best stay possible. They also help set you up with transportation to/from the airport, ATV rentals, surf lessons, and more. Location-wise, it’s ideal and is super close to the beach, near a grocery store, and surrounded by some really great restaurants, making everything easy and walkable. Such a special new spot in Santa Teresa. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a stay there.
