About
Guests routinely call this the best meal they had in Santa Teresa — an intimate sushi bar where the fish is impeccably fresh and the rice made by traditional technique. The signature isn't even sushi: it's the Costa Rican–Japanese ceviche, above all the tuna in passion-fruit sauce people say they'll think about for a long time. It's prepared in front of you and explained as you go, in a space designed by one of the owners. Pricey, and worth it.

The best meal we’ve had in Santa Teresa. The fish is incredibly fresh and the flavor combinations are truly outstanding. Comparable to if not better than Omakase spots in NYC - we got to try unbelievable creative Costa Rican/Japanese blends like the passion fruit and the green sauce ceviches - which were unique flavor explosions - plus incredible tuna and waygu. Service was also outstanding. We loved the great vibes of the staff - our sushi master Andres was awesome, fun, and wonderful to chat with as were the others on deck, Marcos and Justin - they clearly enjoy the craft of sushi making and also hanging out with each other and it was really cute and joyous to see and talk with them in between mind blowingly delicious bites.
Incredible little sushi bar. The fish is incredibly fresh and of the highest quality. The rice is prepared according to the traditional technique. The chef is very experienced, skilled and creative. A bit pricey but worth every penny. I had the 10 course Omakase and it was fantastic.
An spectacular experience. It's not just the food, it's the place, the service, every detail. I can say it's the best sushi I've ever had in my life. Everything is super fresh, prepared right in front of you while they explain everything thoroughly, which makes it even more special. The service is absolute perfection (10/10). The place is very beautiful and has a very calm and pleasant energy. Justina, one of the owners, is a talented architect, and her design skills really shine through in the space. If you're in Santa Teresa, you have to go!
