About
A cluster of cabinas and dorms set in a garden where toucans and monkeys turn up, with hammocks and seating scattered around and the beach a short walk off. The owner is the standout: welcoming, full of Tortuguero tips, and known to lend her own phone to help guests book national-park tickets. One honest note: a club nearby plays music into the evening and a rooster starts early, so pack the earplugs they will offer.

What a lovely place to stay. The hostel owner is super welcoming and full of information about what is good to do in Tortuguero. She even let us use her phone to book our national park tickets when it wasn't working on ours! We stayed in the dorm room which was spacious and had its own kitchen out the back. There was plenty of seating area, including hammocks. The garden was full of wildlife including toucans and monkeys, and the hostel is super close to the beautiful beach.
Great location, comfortable room and very clean kitchen with all appliances you need! Would definitely recommend to anyone who goes to Tortuguero.
It was fine. But I wouldn't come back here. There is a club that plays really loud music and a rooster that will wake you up at 4 AM. There is a kitchen, but it is shared. A big plus is that everything is at walking distance. (But this isn't a big town so where ever you sleep everything still is at walking distance)
