A beachfront spot where the balcony views do the talking, with rooms facing straight onto the sand. It is honest value in the lower price range: clean rooms, an open-air kitchen and bath that put you semi-outside, and staff, with Erica and Natalia named, who organize canoe and turtle tours, guide Daniel a repeat mention. One couple even got a free second turtle tour after seeing none the first night.

Our stay with Pura Natura was perfect. Everyone we met was friendly, polite, kind and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, with an en suite which allowed us to watch all the wildlife 🦜. There was also a private kitchen, which we didn't use during our stay as we were enjoying the local food to much. Erica and Natalia were always on hand and looked after us very well. Life long memories made in Tortugero
Really great value. The location right in front of the beach is great, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the condition is completely fair for the price - the kitchen is a bit worn, but not a problem considering the price. It’s a fun detail that the kitchen and bath are open, so you are semi-outside. Also there are a great outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy the view. All in all, a great experience considering it’s a 2 star hotel, that’s in the lower price range.
I recommend this hotel 100% ! The staff is so nice, so kind et very well organized. They managed everything for us : amazing tours with Daniel, booked restaurant (sunrise), good recommendations. The view from the rooms (beachfront) is amazing. Many thanks ! Pura vida !
