About
A small local supermarket run by a friendly young owner, and for remote Tortuguero the prices stay reasonable — cheaper than the convenience stops, guides told one shopper. The selection is decent for an island this far out, there are fresh vegetables, and you can even pull cash off a card here. A couple of visitors wished items were price-tagged, so it helps to ask at the till.

small local supermarket and run by a smiling young guy. prices are reasonable and lower than in the middle of the city. I recommend it with all ten :)
A decent selection of goods considering the remote location. One of the nature guides at Laguna Lodge stated it was more reasonably priced than the convenience store on the main village walkway.
Largest one on the island, I think. Not overpriced. 1.75L of water and some oreos for 2100CRC. Not super well maintained, with some empty shelves and some shady articles that one can suspect have been on that shelf for quite some time, in the not that cold environment. Do have fresh vegetables.
