About
Owner Paula's place sits right by Uvita's Marino Ballena water and a butterfly garden, and buying a drink gets you free admission to the butterflies. The cooking takes traditional dishes and adds a twist that brings out the flavor; the pork belly tacos get called out as some of the best, and travelers describe whole meals as trip highlights. The sisters running the floor are generous with local tips and even send you off with extra chips and salsa.

The owner Paula, has created a great spot!!! The atmosphere is beautiful! The menu and food is amazing. Was just here again and three of us had three different dishes. All three were fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal, or just hang out and have some drinks. Again, great atmosphere and right at the Uvita water and Butterfly garden. Don’t miss this restaurant!!!
We had a wonderful experience! Our large group of 4 adults and 6 kids ate lunch after adventuring at the waterfall. There was a longer than normal wait time because of the holiday but the butterfly garden kept the kids happy until our food arrived. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! It all was fairly traditional but everything had a culinary twist that gave each dish a little more excitement and a LOT more flavor. We’re looking forward to returning for breakfast soon!
Such a beautiful space with delicious very fresh food and a fun assortment of drinks - plus if you buy a drink you get free admission to the butterfly area! Definitely recommend
