Alamo Rent A Car

Charged $100 for superficial surface scratches on a Suzuki — no dents, no exposed metal, no functional damage. This was clearly something that could be buffed out, yet it was still treated as chargeable damage. It’s obvious this location is trying to squeeze extra money out of customers at return rather than applying reasonable wear-and-tear standards. No pre-rental photos were shown and no proof of an actual repair was provided. This felt like a scam, plain and simple. Take photos of everything before you leave the lot, or better yet, choose a different rental service.

My husband and I rented a vehicle from Alamo Rent A Car in Uvita, Costa Rica and were very happy with the service we received. The car was spotless and in great condition. The price was right too. Much less then renting from an airport. I highly recommend Alamo for your car needs in Uvita.
