Bamboo river house felt like a paradise oasis. The price was surprisingly affordable for the type of accommodations and we ended up staying 11 days instead of just two because we enjoyed it so much.
This was a very comfortable and beautiful place to stay. It is off the main drag so very peaceful, but only a 10 min walk to get to everything. The rooms were extremely spacious and we loved having our own little kitchen. Having air conditioning was an added bonus. The sunset from the pool was stunning and the grounds were a plant lovers dream. The family that run the place are extremely kind and went above and beyond to help us figure out ways to get around without a rental car. I will definitely be back!
My recent experience at Bamboo River House Hostel exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the owner's warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. The rooms at Bamboo River House were a delightful surprise – not only were they clean, but their spaciousness provided a sense of comfort and freedom. It was a refreshing change to find such ample living space in a hostel setting. To my delight, warm water was readily available, a rarity in Costa Rica. The addition of a nice pool was the cherry on top. I recommend Bamboo River House Hostel to anyone seeking a welcoming atmosphere, spacious and spotless rooms, warm water amenities, and the added bonus of a refreshing pool.
