Getting there is part of it: the road in is a bit rough and the setting feels private and tucked off on its own, which reviewers end up counting as a plus. Burgers are the recurring order — big enough that one table barely made it to dessert — alongside starters like tuna tartare, ceviche, calamari and shrimp skewers. The staff draw consistent praise for patience and warmth, especially with kids, and evenings sometimes bring live music with the pool lit up in changing colors. There is a cocktail happy hour, menus and servers work in both English and Spanish, and the kitchen has been known to feed late arrivals kindly.

This restaurant was a nice find. Saw it on the list of restaurants but was a little journey to get to and I loved that part! Great atmosphere, great food, and loved how private it felt. A sweet little lizard landed on my hand at dinner and just so glad it didn't land on my food. 😂 Everyone at the table thought it was adorable. English and Spanish menus, as well as servers.
It’s a great restaurant with very polite and well-experienced staff. They are skilled, friendly, and customer-oriented. All the meals we had were well prepared and tasted really good. Prices are fair—you get what you pay for. See our pictures!
This was truly the best meal of our entire vacation across Costa Rica. The staff were unbelievably kind and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the tuna tartar, ceviche, the shrimp skewers, and calamari to start. It was all perfect & mouth watering! For entrees we got their amazing burgers; they were huge, flavorful, and left us stuffed (even though we weren’t gonna leave without trying their desserts). This is one of those restaurants that’s worth going out to your way for. We will be back. Thank you for a great meal. PS. They have a great cocktail happy hour
