About
Fish tacos are the calling card — one traveler flatly calls them a favorite anywhere in the world — with the blackened version, shrimp tacos and coco shrimp close behind, and chips whose seasoning earns its own praise alongside the guacamole. Owner Jason turns up in review after review: greeting tables, handing out tips on the area, and remembering returning visitors on sight. Margaritas, a sangria flight and local craft beers cover the drinks side. Open noon to 8 daily, it has become a ritual stop for travelers moving between Dominical and Uvita — several reviews are from people on their second or third trip back.

These are absolutely my favorite fish tacos in the world! We first visited Dominical in 2019 and fell in love with El Pescado Loco. We returned in 2025 and were excited to make this our first stop for food. Still amazing! It’s not just the tacos, I also recommend the chips and guac…yes it sounds simple but the seasoning on the chips makes this app a must-have! If fish isn’t your thing, the shrimp tacos were a hit with our kids. My wife was particularly fond of the sangria flight to accompany. Owner Jason is super friendly; you can tell this business is his passion. He gave us some great recommendations for activities in the area. Straightaway we felt more like friends than customers and this definitely wasn’t unique to our group. He greets everyone with the same warm hospitality. We are excited to see the new location they are moving to. Jason promises more space and an atmosphere that perfectly matches Dominical’s vibe. Whether you’re passing through on your way to/from Uvita or staying in the Dominical area, this place is a must!
We tried the fish and chips as well as the fish burger, and everything was excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were very friendly and welcoming. A great place that we highly recommend 🐟
First stop: Margaritas were fantastic and the staff and owners were great. Wish I was hungry because the tacos look amazing. Definitely returning next time in Dominical! Second stop: We went back for food and it did not disappoint. Fish tacos, beef nachos (real cheese, not sauce), fresh chips & guac, local craft brews, and coco shrimp all were great. I got the fish tacos blackened and we're fantastic. We will definitely stop again next trip.
