About
A family soda that opens at 6:30, earlier than most of Dominical, which is why several reviewers make it their standing breakfast stop. The gallo pinto comes up again and again — one traveler called it the best of their trip — and the frozen batidos, especially the choco-banana, are the other repeat order. Regulars greet the owner, Sergio, by name and note his brother runs the fruit stand out front; some diners carry their drinking coconut straight from the stand to the table. Reviewers consistently call the prices great.

I have been going to this restaurant for breakfast every time I am in Dominical. They have delicious smoothies (try the choco banana frozen 'batido') and authentic Tico breakfasts. I usually get 'gallo pinto con huevos fritos y queso frito con salchichon'. That with some coffee and a smoothie will fill me up until dinner. The prices are great and the owner, Sergio, is the nicest person I know in Dominical. His brother runs the fruit stand right in front of the restaurant.
I love this place! Delicious food, kind servers and quiet, peaceful atmosphere. They have the best gallo pinto I’ve had this trip 😋 and the frozen batidos are an awesome treat.
We love the fruit stand outside and always bring our drinking coconut inside for our meals. They make decent traditional food and not too costly. Except a chicken empanadas I had, which was a bit dry. But still the chicken tasted nice.
