About
Daniela and Omer run these trips themselves, and nearly every review names them. It is a private boat, so the day bends to the group: inshore roosterfish and snapper, offshore mahi, dolphin and whale sightings along the Dominical coast, or the longer run out to Caño Island, where one group counted five white-tipped reef sharks while snorkeling. Daniela serves fresh fruit and homemade sweet bread on the water, families with kids report being well looked after, and one crew took their catch to a nearby restaurant to have it grilled that same day.

Daniela and Omer were wonderful guides and very accommodating to our family of five. Daniela served us fresh watermelon, pineapple, cookies, and sweet bread on our tour. We saw a pod of dolphins with their babies, caught several fish, and enjoyed the beautiful scenic coast of Dominical. We took our fish and had them grilled at a nearby restaurant- so delicious!
We had an outstanding experience with Fishing Tours Zahira in Costa Rica. Daniela and her husband were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. Thanks to their guidance, we successfully caught mackerel and jack, and the entire trip was very well organized from start to finish. One of the highlights of our tour was seeing a whale, which made the experience truly unforgettable. They created a welcoming, safe, and friendly atmosphere throughout the trip. Their passion and dedication to providing a high-quality experience truly stand out. We highly recommend Fishing Tours Zahira to anyone looking for a memorable and professional fishing experience in Costa Rica.
We went out with Daniela and Omer for a trip to the Caño Island. It’s nice to be on a private boat without a ton of other people. We got to see Dolphins and a sea turtle in the ride out. We saw tons of different fish and FIVE white tipped reef sharks. Had some fresh fruit and homemade lemon bread which was delicious. Would 100% recommend if you want to go Cano Island.
