Toni, the owner, shows up in nearly every review — repeat guests say she and her family treat you like their own, and she seems to know everyone in town, so tips and tour bookings come easy; one group even got a printed itinerary. Rodrigo at the front desk earns his own shout-outs, once for baking guests bread. The small, personal hotel sits in the middle of Dominical next to the Fuego brewery, steps from the beach and shops, with clean rooms at reasonable rates, a sandwich shop in the lobby, and — per one reviewer — a sloth and her baby living in the tree by the group kitchen.

Fantastic place to stay. Everything that you may need is just a few steps away including the beach. Staff was great and extremely helpful. They also have a sandwich shop in the lobby which was a perfect lunch.
This was my fourth time staying here, and a pleasure as usual. Toni is just a really sweet person. She and her family take time out to make you feel special and appreciated. Room very Clean as usual, and location is perfect to the beach and all of the restaurants and shopping.
Awesome hotel! Clean, right in the middle of Dominical next to the Fuego micro brewery/restaurant, and room rates were very reasonable. It's a small, personal hotel more like a hostel. I booked 3 rooms for 5 nights and we all were impressed with the friendly staff. Toni the owner took care of us like family. She seems to know everybody and everything going on in town so we missed nothing. A sloth w/baby lives in the tree back by the group kitchen. Rodrigo at front desk even made us bread one day :)
