MAVI Surf Hotel

I have been coming to dominical since 2003 and this is the best place I’ve ever stayed at. They keep the place immaculate, everything is kept updated, the place is just beautiful. We felt safe with the security gate in front, and the walk to the beach was under 5 mins, making it the perfect distance to be close to town but just out of the busy section. The grocery store is also just 50 meters away. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was a great healthy start to your day. We also loved the friendly cat, Penelope, who greeted us when we arrived and would regularly hang out with us during our stay. Thank you Max for an awesome stay. We will definitely be coming back.

We spent a week here and loved everything about MAVI! Clean rooms, hot showers, a great pool and areas to clean off sand. Close proximity to both the beach and town as well as a grocery store right next door. As others have said the hospitality was first class, Max and his staff were so kind and accomodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Dominical.

My husband and I stayed at the Mavi hotel and loved it. The owner Max was incredibly helpful and informative recommending great restaurants and activities. The hotel itself was spotless and the rooms very comfortable with a large bed and bathroom. The hotel has a lovely pool and it is situated within walking distance of beach and the town but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There was a great private terrace outside the room overlooking the pool. Breakfast was excellent. We wished we could have stayed longer.
