Cabins on a small hill near San Josecito, about five minutes from the beach, where guests wake to howler monkeys and hummingbirds outside the window and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Sunsets from the hilltop come up repeatedly as spectacular. Hosts Susana and Carlos are described as friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The on-site bar and restaurant is a real convenience out here — a varied menu, with one guest noting full breakfast, lunch, or dinner plates at ten dollars each. As with most of this coast, you'll want a 4x4 to reach it. A good fit if you want to be deep in the green with dinner still within walking distance.
