About
A downtown Liberia soda for real local food — the typical casado piled with rice, beans, beef, sweet plantain and avocado, and a proper Costa Rican breakfast of gallo pinto. Reviewers single out the value (one paid about $12 for two full breakfasts and coffee) and the genuinely kind counter service. Open early, which suits an airport-day breakfast.

Delicious local food and very friendly staff. Had a typical Costa Rican plate with rice, beans, beef, plantain, and avocado — everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was super kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and genuine. Highly recommend if you want real local food in Liberia! 🇨🇷🥑
Great spot to have a typical breakfast, food was tasty & good portions. The staff were kind and service was good!
EXCELLENT experience and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Avocado as a traditional Soda in downtown Liberia! 😁 We used their counter service for an early breakfast (6am) — extremely polite, great food and GREAT VALUE! $12USD for two (2) full breakfast’ and coffee!
