About
The kind of place you return to night after night, largely for servers like Joxan, Moti and Gallito, who explain the menu, time every course and make the evening. The food earns it too: grilled octopus, tuna tartare with avocado and mango, steaks and filet mignon cooked to order, coconut fish, and passionfruit cheesecake. One of the finer dining experiences in the Espadilla beach area.

We Had breakfast lunch and dinner her and our group of three were all very impressed with the taste of the dishes and variety. On our last night two of us had the steak and fillet mignon, the other the roasted cauliflower. All were cooked to our satisfaction. A special mention for our server Gallito, who we had during lunch and dinner. He was very knowledgeable and professional. His timing with our table was perfect. Pura Vida!
My family ate here for dinner several times while staying at the hotel, and we were each time impressed with the quality of the food, peaceful vibe, and most of all the excellent service! One of our waiters (Joxan) gave us an incredible explanation of the menu, explaining not just the best dishes but also which ingredients or cooking methods were traditional. Another of our waiters, Moti, responded quickly with ice when my mom fell and then remembered to ask after her two days later. Costa Rica is full of friendly people and good food, but this restaurant was a highlight of our trip, especially in busy/chaotic Manuel Antonio. Best dishes: cassava/yukka fries, coconut fish, passionfruit cheesecake, chimmichurri steak (all recommended by Joxan)
One of our finest dining experiences in the Espadilla beach area. Grilled octopus, ceviche, steaks cooked to perfection, shrimp/pasta, delicious bar cocktails - The culinary experience and ethereal atmosphere was over the top, but most special was our server Joxan (spelling?) that made our evening spectacular. He was attentive and also gave us history & a special tour. Thank you so much. I wish I took more plate pictures.
